A Financial Reporting Analyst produces the financial reports and analysis that give leadership visibility into business performance. They prepare P&Ls, cash flow statements, and variance analysis — and translate the numbers into plain-language commentary.

Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports

Conduct variance analysis against budget and prior periods

Build financial models and scenario analysis for leadership decisions

Liaise with department heads to explain and reconcile their cost centres
